Collection: CRÉME
Behind the name CRÈME lies a seasoned artist with an impressive history in the music industry. While some fans may only know her from her recent work, CRÈME's creator has been part of successful projects that shaped the music landscape—boasting a platinum album and a #1 Billboard club hit. Now, through this solo project, she has embarked on a new chapter, reinventing herself as a fully independent artist in a rapidly evolving industry.
In her earlier projects, CRÈME focused on writing toplines and delivering powerful vocal performances, leaving production to others. However, the past decade has brought a seismic shift in music production. Digital tools have become increasingly accessible, allowing artists to experiment and create on their terms. Reflecting on these changes, CRÈME notes, “The whole industry changed, and now the gatekeepers are gone. It can be 100% DIY, so there’s more room for people like me. I can produce and collaborate in multiple ways, and I feel more creatively fulfilled.”
While the music production landscape is still dominated by men, CRÈME takes pride in the fact that she no longer needs anyone else's approval. The freedom to create what she wants, when she wants, has become an essential part of her artistic identity. CRÈME is not just a project; it’s a personal revolution—"pure, undiluted, and 100% irreplaceable."
CRÈME’s journey is marked by incredible moments that even she finds surreal. One of the most memorable was performing at a stadium show headlined by the Foo Fighters and David Bowie, where she stood before a crowd of 20,000 people. Looking down from 40 feet above the stage, CRÈME was awestruck as the sea of fans sang along to her words. “I didn’t grow up thinking that would happen to me—it kind of came as a surprise, one I’m incredibly grateful for,” she reflects.
This blend of humility and ambition is what has shaped CRÈME into the artist she is today, one who doesn’t take her past for granted but looks to the future with fervor.
CRÈME’s latest singles, "ICONIC," "Falling Down," and "Suffocation," mark a return to her songwriting roots. These tracks are infused with a nostalgic nod to the original 90’s and early 2000’s retrowave sound, the era she hails from and feels most connected to. “It’s a vibe that’s been growing so much lately,” she shares. “I got super inspired and made a bunch of tracks in the past year or so that all come from that place I feel so at home in.”
As she looks to the future, CRÈME has her sights set on growing her catalog and releasing as much music as possible. Live performance is also on the horizon, and she’s excited to return to the stage when the time is right. However, in today's music landscape, it's not just about performing—it's about navigating virality in niche markets, the gamified world of streaming platforms, and the constant pressure to engage on social media. CRÈME is handling it all by staying grounded in what she loves most: making music.
There’s plenty more to come from CRÈME. With exciting collaborations in the works, including one with the talented VØJ, and several EPs underway, fans have a lot to look forward to. “I can’t wait to share everything,” she teases.
CRÈME is more than an artist—it’s a reflection of her personal evolution and passion. Through her solo work, she’s creating a legacy that’s entirely her own, unfiltered and unstoppable.
